The Rewilding
Welcome to our blog. It’s about healing an ecosystem, albeit a small one.
In June 2023 we purchased a house on an acre in south-central Pennsylvania. An acre isn’t much, but it does give us some room to grow and experiment with a passion project – converting a weed-infested plot back to a reasonably native ecosystem that supports a range of location-appropriate native flora as well as as many insects as we can attract. We call it our Rewilding Project.
Fast forward to October 12, 2024 and I’m just launching this blog. We’ve done a few things on our Rewilding Project in the interim, so I’ll create posts for those … and I’ll backdate them so our progress is on the correct timeline.
